A peaceful spring walk around Lexby and Kåhög, with green paths, shimmering water, a fika break and animals along the way.

The story

Spring greens, fika and little encounters.

On 21 May 2020, we took a peaceful walk around Lexby and Kåhög. A lovely spring day in May, with blue skies and greenery glowing in the sunshine.

The waterside path became one of the views we wanted to keep. Trees lean over the bank, with blue water showing between their trunks. The sort of setting that invites you to slow your pace.

Fika is part of the outing, of course. This time it was coffee in a thermos cup and some Gifflar mini cinnamon buns among the greenery. A good break does not need to be more complicated than that.

Along the way, we also photographed the animals: a sheep in the green grass and a little foal beside an adult horse. Together with the water, trees and spring sunshine, they became lovely memories of a quiet day close to home.
